Tutor Talk - Planning
Stick in the sand.
If you're a tutor, I'm sure you've probably heard that phrase before. One of our jobs as tutors is to introduce the new memory work each week, and we're supposed to be able to do it with just a stick in the sand. Yes, it's possible, and even preferable. However, with my class, I've found some little tricks to help hold their attention (Latin puppets!).

Tutor Talk - Review Games
It's great to have a nice collection of go-to games that work well for your class. As you know, each class has different dynamics, so what will work for one class might not work for another. Most of these games I have here are for the younger kiddos, but some can adapted for the older Foundations crowd. Take a look!
