Book Break - Don't Know Much About the Kings and Queens of England

Have time for a quick book break?
Don't Know Much About the Kings and Queens of England is our absolute favorite book on this subject! I've looked at many books about the English monarchs, and this one is perfect for elementary-age students. It's funny, has great illustrations, and usually uses a one-page spread to cover each monarch. Perfect length!

Speaking of English kings and queens, Mary and I have loved watching this Horrible Histories video about all the monarchs:

Queen Mary the First (Bloody Mary) has become my little Mary's favorite monarch. Ick! And, yes, I am fully aware of how disturbing this next picture is:

Well... hmmm... at least she's excited about learning, right? Right?  ;)
