I, of course, love to review CC memory work at the table after meals. However, here's what the hubs thinks of it. HA!
Caught 'ya! ;) I am in LOVE with this man!
Anna's still working on using her spoon... looks like we need to keep working on that. ;)
And it's me!
Seriously, she has the sweetest face!
Do you think this is how I look when we review? Really? Well, not all the time. ;)
The girls completed their arthropod art project, but the lobsters came out looking like red reindeer with whiskers to me (but they're still adorable!). And I have no pictures of the actual 'artistic process' because they were both in their birthday suits while they made these. Ha! It was just too messy! They pressed their hands and feet down, then Daddy carried them straight to the bathtub. :)
I hope you enjoyed these silly Monday pictures. I'm a little embarrassed that we didn't do anything to celebrate Columbus Day, though. Stephen did tell Mary about him sailing to the 'New World,' but she just laughed and said that was silly. Gotta love it!
Just wanted to tell you how much I love your blog! I have an 8 year old boy dong CC this year and I have been totally copying you! I love how you have everything so nicely laid out and it's all so simple and fun and I don't have search all over for something fun to do. I also appreciate how Anna is included - I have a 3 year old and it is so much easier to just let them get in on the action instead of trying to keep them away. Keep up the great work and thanks for keeping me on track!
ReplyDeleteTeri, thanks so much for the sweet comment! I'm glad that my plans can help another family. This blog is like my accountability partner when it comes to school, although I don't always get to do everything in my 'plans.' Thanks again for encouragement, friend! :)
