If you're a tutor, I'm sure you've probably heard that phrase before. One of our jobs as tutors is to introduce the new memory work each week, and we're supposed to be able to do it with just a stick in the sand. Yes, it's possible, and even preferable. However, with my class, I've found some little tricks to help hold their attention (Latin puppets!).
